- To act as a focal point for financial advice to Operational Directors and other non-finance staff, interpreting financial reports and requirements for them and interpreting information provided by them to produce the necessary financial information.
- To monitor and report on the financial performance of the operational area and its services providing the appropriate financial advice so as to ensure financial objectives are met.
- To work with non-finance staff to produce area and service level budgets (for both bids and financial control), forecasts, business plans and, where necessary, reports for funders.
- To work with the Finance Director and other senior finance managers to develop corporate requirements in relation to best practice systems relating to accounting, reporting and other financial matters .
