Following an assessment in August 2024 the Catch22 Employability division has been awarded the matrix Standard for information, advice and guidance services (IAG).
Matrix accreditation is recognised by the Department for Education and benchmarks against best practice. This accreditation demonstrates Catch22’s high standards of IAG delivery and reflects the organisation’s dedication to the quality of this service.
The comprehensive review looked at Catch22’s strategies, processes and operations, including interviews with Catch22 staff, services users, and partners.
The assessor noted some specific areas of excellence, commending our programmes for their strong strategy, aligning both corporate funders and Catch 22’s own vision and mission.
Our employability and skills hub was also praised for its well-established support model, enabling staff to provide support and advice that is tailored to individual’s needs, while also maintaining consistency of approach and quality of provision.
The report recognised that as well as offering best practice delivery, Catch22’s core vision was well embedded within the staff, with their passion, ethos, and commitment to the individuals they support clearly evident.
Christina Hicks, Director or Employability and Creative Programmes at Catch22, said:
We are thrilled to have achieved matrix accreditation as it demonstrates not only the quality of the IAG provision we offer at Catch22, but also the passion and dedication of the staff who offer employability support to those that need it most.
