Safer Internet Day is an annual social media campaign that over 200 organisations take part in every year. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of how to keep safe online, aiming for a world where everyone can have a positive interaction with the internet.
The theme this year is ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. We asked young people from our employability programmes to create resources and materials that explore the theme, thinking about what issues really matter to them, what changes they want to see, and how we can all work together to advocate for young people moving forward, and have been sharing some of their work on our channels today.
