Today, Catch22 is delighted to re-launch its newly developed website.
Following feedback from, and user research involving, service users, commissioners, and professionals alike, our new website has been built to better respond to our increasingly digital world, and to the changing needs of those we work with.
We have focused heavily on the user experience, with changes made to improve navigation so that everyone can easily find the information they are looking for. To support this, we have also implemented better search functionality, including a service locator to allow you to not only see what services Catch22 delivers, but how far away those services might be.
We have also made it easier for professionals to find information to support people. Our new Resource Hub brings together all of our downloadable booklets, posters and leaflets, alongside our blogs and announcements, in one place so that you can find the information you need. This sits alongside our new Events Hub, enabling you to sign up for any upcoming Catch22 events – both virtual and in-person – with ease.
At the heart of our redevelopment has been the varying needs of the individuals we support as we believe it is important to enable everyone to use our website, however they prefer to do so. From a new accessibility toolbar, with functionality including translation, colour and size changes, audio readings and much more, to text versions of all PDF documents, and captioning on all Catch22 videos, we have aligned the website to the WCAG 2.1 AA standards – and are working towards AAA wherever possible.
We really believe that this investment will allow Catch22 to better support service users, partners, commissioners, and professionals, and hope that you will take the time to take a look!
